Yes, people have been arguing your question for ages bud, but personally I truly believe in what you said, you can easily add reverse, and turning signals and mirrors to your quad (some have reverse but im talking yfz wise), but then you also gotta remember you cant wheelie a harley or a scooter, yes you can a super bike but they're hoping no ones that retarded. So yes we all could have ATVs on the road if there wasn't retards who spoil it and do all these wheelies and stoppies and whatever else you wanna do on the road and not on there own property or on the track. Here's some points that if you did want to make a petition in your state that you could use.

    1. Four wheels are better than two. (Clearly!)

    2. Clearly cheaper than most cars out there.

    3. Most go 85 mph right out of the showroom. (Due to law they can not go faster than that out of showroom, Now you know why we have mods for our babies! Easily modded for faster use, faster than most cars!)

    4. Way safer than a motorcycles that can turn over, and if you get hit on a motorcycle your gone, at least on a atv you have a pretty good chance of living if wearing proper gear.

Those four are just to name a few there are millions of reasons. But bottom line some states you can have ATVs and even certain city's. You can just move to that state, remember no one said you had to live in that state and that's probably what they'll tell you.

Also to response to some of these answers,

    1. Mrs. Jones won't be able to use her phone legally anymore soon!

    2. ATVs are safer retard its clearer than fuck!

    3. You have a better chance of living if you crash your atv than you do your motorcycle.

really other than a helmet and a tall boot for ankle support there isnt much else needed on the trail. but if your extra concerned a spine/ chest protecter would be the next most life saving

Ain't from your area. But no matter what you find I hope you are not going to rip up the trails. ATV's (I have one) are great but I shutter when a newbie asks where to rent them and what trails are open.

    I suggest you go sailing.

I have seen ppl make homemade platforms that sit above the bed. so the quads are not actually in the bed but on top of it. The quads would be sideways, and you would need to make anchor points and longer ramps to get them off.

I seen platforms made of 2×4's and plywood, and supports that go down to the bed floor. I wouldnt want that weight on the sides of the bed.
you get it, kinda hard to explain in words.

In Osceola County, just a short drive from you, there is a place called "Suburban" in Holopaw. Every weekend the place is full of all types of ATV's and other off road toys! You have to have a key to get in, be a land owner, or know someone with a key, that is its only downfall.
You could also try any of Osceola Counties Wildlife Management Areas: Bull Creek ; Three Lakes (off 441) or Three Lakes (Canoe Creek Rd) Also to ride in these places you'll need a Mangaement Stamp available at Wal-Mart or even City Hall – If getting here is not an option try your local Wildlife Management Areas in Brevard County.
